This ia an ameturist attempt so do forgive me if something goes wrong and another thing dont trust me.so here goes

First step would be to put add sense on your site . how does it help ?/ well they say it pays you for the clicks. as soon as i get something ill surely info u but for now whats the harm in trying.

JUDGE POPULARITY

Next thing , i mean if you are blogging you would like to know if people like your site and how many people are visiting id say go for bravenet its easy (atleast for me ,just register and go for the various tools it offers!!i have used site counter and mini poll)

POPULARISING YOUR SITE/BLOG

first you have to add tags to your site they are something like key words i.e the keywords you think best describe your site for example if you needed a free blog , you typed free blog n got the adress of blogspot similarly if you think anyone searching for "movie review" should find your blog then your key word should be movie ,review, hindi,xyz,abc.....without goin into big stories hers the shortest thing you can do, write this code



ie just put your code after one head but make sure u dont put it btw some other code

SO NOW THAT YOU HAVE DECIDED WHICH KEYWORDS IDENTITYFY YOUR SITE AND PASTED THEM ON YOUR SITE TOOO YOU NEED TO NOW SUBMIT YOUR SITE .

GO TO A SITE CALLED SUBMITPLUS.COM . YOU CAN DO TWO THINGS HERE
1. go for a meta tag test ,just submit your site and it will return you your keywords if it dosent means u have made a mistake somewhere(GET PROFESSIONAL HELP dont depend on me)if u get you keywords GREAT !!!IM A GOOD TEACHER
2. GO TO SUBMIT YOUR SITE TO top ten search engine option on submit plus and submit!!!NEXT WHAT YOU CAN DO IS GO TO GOOGLE AND TYPE A SEARCH WORD "FREE SUBMIT" that will give you similar sites like submit plus wherein you have to go and just put ur site name (url)and max ur email id. dont bother about sites which ask you to place a link back on your site its just not mandatory. also u can ignore site which ask you endless info about your address etc...,there are so many more....

OK wether all this effort actually helps FRANKLY I DONT KNOW, IM JUST TRYIN IT OUT MYSELF......
